Everyone in the pig world has been crushed to learn that Kirby went over the rainbow bridge, held gently in his Mom's loving arms. We want to remember him and honor his sweet silly smile here, and we welcome you commenting and sharing your memories of this sweet boy.

From his Mom, Holly:
He was a special special pig. He really was my animal soul mate. It still just can't reconcile it all in my brain. He's the reason I got into pig rescue. I wouldn't know many of my best friends if it weren't for his winning smile on fb. He came to me when I needed him most and has been the glue that's held me together the last 11 years. He was really only a mama's boy and I loved him with my whole heart.
"How do you learn to breathe again when someone you love dearly passes on. Someone who shared part of your heart and soul? Someone who has been with you through thick and thin and loved you unconditionally. How do you tell your heart it's going to be ok when things will never be the same again? He fought hard and has been through so much. He 's left such a huge hole left in my heart. I will love you forever Kirby Doodle. You will always be mama's soul pig. You're a good good boy." ~Holly

"Grieve not,
nor speak of me with tears,
but laugh and talk of me
as if I were beside you
I loved you so
'twas Heaven here with you."

   Isla Paschal Richardson

Goodbye sweet Kirby- we'll see you again in the meadow beyond the rainbow bridge!
